Board Meeting – March 2019 – POSTPONED
Board of Directors Meeting
Thursday, March 19, 2020 – 9:00 am
As we deal with the unfolding pandemic and learn more each day, more and more of us are seeing the value to putting a lid on the community spread by limiting community involvement. For March, we are deciding to postpone our monthly board meeting. In its place, Blvd. staff and I will put together a detail of all the things we are working on and upcoming dates to consider. We will also highlight our recent successful Developers Opportunity Tour and our successful First Friday and BLVD Stroll events. It’s been a busy month so far.
Assemblymember Todd Gloria asked that we share the information on this California Employment Development Department (EDD) webpage with our members: https://edd.ca.gov/about_edd/coronavirus-2019.htm. It provides information on best practices for a safe work environment, resources for employees, and support for businesses through Rapid Response teams, Work Sharing, and tax assistance.
The response to COVID-19 is evolving rapidly as both state and local agencies ramp up public health infrastructure and release new protocols. The best resources to stay up to date are the California Department of Public Health’s webpage as well as the federal Centers for Disease Control and San Diego County Public Health.
This virus will teach us good things if we choose that, be considerate, allowing, protective & proactive and most of all, don’t let it keep us from being connected and caring.
Tootie Thomas, Executive Director
