Little Saigon Tree Celebration

A celebration was held for this community effort welcoming the addition of over 40 new trees to the Little Saigon Cultural District.

Through a collaborative planting project with Viet Voices ,The El Cajon Boulevard
Business Improvement Association and Little Saigon Working Group, new trees have been planted on El Cajon Boulevard from Highland to Euclid.

The trees were purchased by the El Cajon Boulevard Maintenance District, who will also maintain the trees. SDG&E also generously donated twelve trees to the project.

Council President Sean Elo-Rivera (District 9) was at the event to give accommodations to the Little Saigon Working Group and CG Fredrickson, Grounds Maintenance Manager for the El Cajon Boulevard Maintenance District. Viet Voices presented SDG&E with a certificate for their contribution to the effort.
